Your first mushroom is free, you only pay gas. Each token after costs 0.00005 Ξ, and a wallet can mint at most 10. Supply is 10,000. There is no founder allocation and no presale, so every mushroom is minted by the public on equal terms.
When you mint, your DNA is locked to the hash of a future block nobody can see at purchase time. A moment later you reveal and it sprouts. This makes it impossible to cherry pick rares, so the 1% Void Truffle stays a true 1%.
Spore → Mycelium → Mature → Elder, over about 40 days. Anyone can call evolve() once a stage's cooldown (3, 7, then 30 days) passes, and the onchain art changes at every step. It is never static.
At Mycelium, link to another holder with connectMycelium(), and your onchain Network Size grows. At Elder, releaseSpore() mints a child with inherited and mutated DNA: a new generation born from yours.
The image (an SVG) and the metadata are generated inside the smart contract and served as a data URI. No IPFS, no servers, no external links. As long as Ethereum runs, your mushroom renders, forever.
Each DNA encodes species, biome, pattern, stem, eyes, accessory and a rare 1% mutation flag, all onchain attributes. Secondary royalties are 5% via ERC2981, the standard marketplaces honor, never a forced transfer tax.
